RETAIL STORE MANAGER

KARAIKAL, India

As a Retail Store Manager at KIFL, you own the end-to-end performance of your store — from achieving sales targets and controlling costs to delivering the customer experience our brand is known for. You'll report to the Retail Sales Operations Manager and be part of a growing 19-outlet network where your store's results are visible and celebrated.

This role is both commercial and operational by nature. We expect the candidate to be proactive, data-aware, and lead from the floor with a "get it done" spirit — driving sales while keeping inventory, hygiene, and collections firmly under control

Responsibilities

  • Achieve monthly sales targets and drive Average Ticket Value
  • Control stock variance, wastage, and raise timely replenishment indents
  • Resolve customer complaints and manage Google reviews
  • Follow up on overdue payments from credit customers
  • Train floor staff on upselling and customer engagement

Must Have

  • Proven retail store management or supervision experience
  • People management and team coaching skills
  • Basic inventory and financial literacy
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Attention to compliance and audit standards

Nice to have

  • Experience in bakery, sweets, or food retail
  • Familiarity with Odoo or POS systems
  • Local vendor and logistics coordination
  • Fluency in Tamil with working English
